A delicious example of one of the classic red wines of Italy. This famous producer of Amarone, and IWSC Italian Wine Producer of the Year in 2004 and 2006, shows class early on in the range.
Tasting Notes
Red garnet colour; fresh and fruity with fragrance of wild berries at the nose; dry, velvety, well balanced.
Food matching
It goes perfectly with many kinds of food such as pasta, grilled or roasted red meat, medium ripe cheese. Serving temperature 16°/18°C.
Winemaking Notes
Corvina 75%, Rondinella 25%
Harvest time runs late September to mid-October. Vinified in red, skins contact maceration lasts 10 days and then takes place the malolactic fermentation. Remains in stainless steel for 12 months until bottling. Rests about 3-4 months in bottle before being release to the market.
