A deliciously rounded, elegant and fruity example of this famous white wine from the town of Gavi in Piemonte. It was the fine Gavi coming out of this winery which helped win the zone the top Gavi di Gavi DOCG classification.
This is the most representative and classic wine produced by the winery and it is for this reason that its label carries the name of the farm: La Meirana on it. As a matter of fact the very oldest document which states the origin of the name "Gavi" is preserved at the Record Office in Genova and mentions vineyards and chestnut woods on a spot called Meirana. That document dates back to 971 A.D.
