Few things surpass having a magnum of fine wine on your table.
Soft and harmonious, this is a red wine of immense power and density on the palate which has won wide acclaim. The husband and wife team who run this estate, on the border of the Florence and Siena councils, constantly strive to produce wines of the highest quality. They never disappoint.
Balzini refers to the sloping ground on which the vineyards are situated.
Tasting Notes
A ruby red wine, deep and intense, which is typical of Chianti but here enriched with Cabernet Sauvignon. It has a complex and elegant fragrance with the scent of ripe wild red berries, well integrated with spices and aromas of the barriques. Beautiful Sangiovese nuances integrate with the power of Cabernet Sauvignon. It gives sensations inspired by a territory rich of history and charm.
