A unique region with an ancient charm where history, nature and centuries of tradition, art and religion are bound together. There are numerous intact Venetian villas, over 4000 elegant buildings that are symbols of the aristocracy of the Venetian Republic during the 16th and 17th centuries, which gave rise to a particular urban architectural phenomenon led by the architect Andrea Palladio.
