Dr. Federico Carletti’s estate now stretches to 240 hectares, 120 of which are within either DOCG – for Vino Nobile – or DOC – for Morellino – production zones. Dr Carletti is passionate about every inch of his vineyards and employs dramatically low yields to ensure that his Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon are of the very highest order.  The results have made the Poliziano estate not only one of the finest in the region but in the whole of Italy.
