In 1980 three former schoolfriends in Vittoria, on the south-eastern coast of Sicily, founded a farm called COS (the initials of their surnames). Though they had all embarked on professional careers after school, their passion for the vineyard was too great. They began to produce wine for pleasure and ended up creating one of the most famous wineries in Sicily.

From 26 hectares of vineyards, COS now produces 160,000 bottles using only natural methods.
